Big Oil Paintings
These large-scale oil paintings are made for spaces that want presence, not decoration. Each piece holds powerful color, raw gesture, and emotional weight. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just beginning your relationship with abstract art, I welcome your thoughts.Explore the collection. See what stays with you. And if something stirs — let’s talk. Art isn’t meant to live in silence.

Breath in the Paper
“Come out of the circle of time, and into the circle of love.” — Rumi My artwork lives in that space — beyond the clock, inside the feeling. These are original abstract paintings made with impermanent materials like newsprint, cardboard, and acrylic — each one a reflection of emotion, memory, and presence.Whether you're a contemporary art collector, a first-time admirer, or just exploring, I invite you to connect. Your thoughts, questions, and impressions help shape the life of the work.Take your time with the abstract collections. Let them speak. If something moves you — reach out. This isn’t just about owning art. It’s about being part of a conversation that fades, like the materials themselves.

Saatchi Art is one of the best places to buy artwork online.

Emotional, Expressive Artwork for Contemporary Art Collectors
Explore and collect original abstract artwork by Gareth Pitt-Hart — from small works on paper to large-scale contemporary paintings on canvas, cardboard, and found materials. My practice lives at the edge of impermanence: expressive, emotional, and built from what’s meant to disappear.
A selection of available pieces can also be found in my Saatchi Art gallery collection. Two of my largest abstract expressionist works are now available — raw, vertical paintings made from salvaged cardboard and layered with language, gesture, and tension.
If you're drawn to contemporary abstract painting, expressionist art, or emotional wall art with story and soul, this is a good place to start. Originals are available for purchase, and I welcome custom art commissions — especially if you want something personal, bold, and not meant to live forever.
Like Ed Ruscha, I believe in language as image, and in art that holds space without shouting. His work has always been a compass for me. If you’re curious, I recommend checking out this YouTube retrospective that captures his vision beautifully.
“I believe in intuition and approaching things as instant gratification. Just do the things you want to do, make the kind of pictures you want to make.”
